Floating between shimmering sequences and expansive synthesizer textures, ALNILAM invites the listener into a state of quiet contemplation. Gentle harmonic movements gradually unfold, revealing an immersive sonic landscape where time seems to dissolve.

With the release of MINTAKA on June 13, 2026 — my father's birthday — a new chapter has begun. This date carries a deep personal significance and quietly illuminates the journey behind the album. The music unfolds like a constellation slowly forming in the inner sky. Each vibration, each sonic breath, each evolving sequence becomes an offering, not only to listeners, but to life itself and to the light that gently guides us.

In the end, what truly matters is not external recognition, but the continuity of these bonds: with music, with family, and with those who resonate with these frequencies. A sincere sharing from heart to heart, carried by sound.

During our last conversation, Michael Scanlon made a very specific request: “Laurent, could you one day put together a clear chronology of your discography? I believe it would be valuable for us listeners, to follow the evolution of your universe.”

Schallwelle Award 2025 Sequentia Legenda and Dylan

Dear friends-listeners,

These two days spent in Schwerte, near Dortmund, were intense and filled with light for Dylan and me. Returning to this gathering of the Berlin School and electronic music community felt like coming home. Beyond styles and generations, there is a shared pulse — a quiet understanding flowing through conversations, smiles and sounds.

Reconnecting with artists and friends, exchanging impressions, memories and visions, reminds us that music moves far beyond words. It becomes a living field of resonance, linking hearts across time and space. The reunions with Tommy Betzler and Anke carried a special warmth — shared laughter, memories, and the unspoken certainty that the creative thread remains alive. With the presence of the Schallwelle Award, celebrating excellence in electronic music, the gathering shone even brighter, honoring not only artistic paths but the deep connections that unite us.

HOLDING THE LIGHT IN UNCERTAIN TIMES
Music as an Invisible Bridge

For me, as Sequentia Legenda, this edition will remain a meaningful milestone. A RAY OF LIGHT was ranked 4th among 255 international albums, and I was honored to receive 14th place in the international artist ranking.

Yet beyond the numbers, what touches me most deeply is something more essential: the confirmation that sincerity in creation is felt. Every note shaped with intention, every texture patiently sculpted, carries an inner vibration that can reach another soul somewhere in the world. That silent connection is the true reward. ✨

This ray of light also pierces through a painful family trial we are currently experiencing. Despite distance and challenging moments with Valentin and Dylan, music becomes an invisible bridge. It creates a space where gratitude, protection and kindness continue to circulate, gently but persistently. In uncertain times, sound can hold what words cannot. 💛

I was deeply moved to see my mentor Klaus Schulze nominated posthumously with the album Bon Voyage. His presence remains alive in the frequencies he released into the world. It is a powerful reminder that music transcends time, connecting creators and listeners across generations, remaining a beacon for those who continue the journey. 🌌

Dear friends-listeners,

The musical encounter with Charlotte Abigaël Dubois was a rare synchronicity. From the first notes, her theremin rose with celestial ease, carrying a gentle nostalgia that touched my soul. Together, we created a space of resonance where two sensibilities meet to produce a vibration greater than the sum of its parts.

These past weeks have been intense—between my efforts to get Valentin back by my side and supporting Dylan in finally having his voice heard. Music has remained both a refuge and a force for transformation. LOVE FEEDS LOVE II now becomes a circle of support, an energy dedicated to my sons’ well-being. All proceeds from this track will go entirely to their protection and care.

“Love feeds love” is not a concept, it is a heart-to-heart movement—what has carried me for years, creating and sharing vibrations that open spaces and reconnect each person to their inner light.

Through this music, I send a wish to all children of light and those moving forward despite shadows: may gentleness accompany you, may truth protect you, and may the beauty of Terra guide you toward peaceful days.

DIVING INTO LAURENT’S WORLD
is like stepping into a painting, a floating, intangible space

What touched or inspired you when discovering the other’s musical universe?

Charlotte: Diving into Laurent’s world is like stepping into a painting, a floating, intangible space where anything is possible. The imagination is free, and images come and go, intertwining. I love this vaporous quality that unfolds over time—without boundaries, without limits—it’s very inspiring!

How would you describe the energy or intention you wanted to convey through LOVE FEEDS LOVE II?

Charlotte: At first, it was difficult for me to connect with this universe. I usually build my layers in loops, and I couldn’t latch onto the piece… I tried many times, without success. Then one summer day, the sun blazing outside, everything calm and quiet, I decided to let go and immerse myself. It became instinctive, almost animalistic—I heard nature, rustlings, calls, and I began to play, to let myself flow. Everything became very organic, as if instead of telling a story with words (as I usually do when composing), I had a brush to paint with sound.

What did this collaboration bring you personally or artistically?

Charlotte: This collaboration pushed me out of my comfort zone, helped me grow, and offered a new creative perspective. I journeyed with my theremin through unknown lands and opened a window I hadn’t yet opened—the one of letting go… It was a beautiful musical encounter that will remain with me forever.

What touched or inspired you when discovering the other’s musical universe?

Laurent: I discovered Charlotte’s sonic world through social media, and it was immediately a delightful surprise. I sensed a way of approaching music with softness, sincerity, and profound sensitivity.

Within her textures, I felt tenderness, serenity, and a kind of inner light that resonates particularly in a world in turmoil. This resonance touched me deeply. The idea of collaborating then arose naturally, almost as if it were meant to be.

How would you describe the energy or intention you wanted to convey through LOVE FEEDS LOVE II?

Laurent: With LOVE FEEDS LOVE II, I wanted to convey an energy of openness, connection, and shared love. The piece carries a movement of peace and elevation, an invitation to return to what truly connects us.

Charlotte’s theremin amplified this intention: its airy, almost vocal timbre wraps the composition in extra gentleness, like a tender gesture placed upon the music.

This work has become a space where light, compassion, and benevolence circulate freely. Unexpectedly, it also accompanies me through a new personal challenge—a separation that threatens my paternal bond. I miss Valentin deeply, yet I stand strong for both my sons. I believe in love, against all odds.

What has this collaboration brought you personally or artistically?

Laurent: This collaboration gave me a fresh breath, an artistic and human opening, and reminded me how music can be a space of communion.

Working with Charlotte brought freshness, a new emotional color, and enriched my own vision. It allowed me to advance further in my inner mission, which grows ever more important: to share light, tenderness, and beauty through music, especially at a time when values seem challenged.

The fluidity with which everything unfolded touched me deeply. On a more intimate level, this collaboration revived the sense that some encounters are no coincidence but part of the synchronicities that mark our path and guide us.

I SEE COLLABORATIONS
AS A MUSICAL AND HUMAN EXPANSION
an opening toward new horizons

I see collaborations as a musical and human expansion, an opening toward new horizons. My very first collaboration was with my friend Jean-Luc Briançon (Kurz Mindfield), which was both a demanding and deeply enriching challenge.

Afterwards, I had the pleasure of working with Tommy Betzler, a multi-talented drummer, sharing wonderful experiences on stage. Those moments pushed me beyond my limits while building bridges between our artistic worlds, leaving lasting impressions in both our hearts.

I cannot forget Nicolas Picciotto, whose generosity supported me during the double album The 432 Hz Berlin School Box, offering both precision and guidance in realizing this ambitious project.

Finally, there is Hélène Vogelsinger, with whom a collaboration was initially planned for the track CIRCUMNAVIGATION. I still hope that one day we will bring this artistic encounter to life, letting our vibrations intertwine.

Each collaboration has allowed me to broaden my vision, refine my sonic universe, and fully experience musical sharing, while deepening the human connection so precious on my journey.

To My Mother, a Bearer of Light

In loving tribute to my Mother, a Bearer of Light

Dear friends-listeners,

November 4, 2025 marks three years since my Mother’s departure into the Light.

This Extended version of Departure for a Celestial Voyage is both an intimate and universal homage — a musical offering dedicated to her soul and to all those who have journeyed to the celestial realms.

These extra 3 minutes and 33 seconds are not just an added length of sound — they are a cosmic breath, a sacred space for reflection and communion.

Through them, I wished to let the music rise gently, like a breath of love and gratitude, a radiant prayer ascending into infinity.

TO MY MOTHER, A BEARER OF LIGHT
His presence shines far beyond

There are beings whose presence shines far beyond time itself.

My mother was one of those awakened souls — curious, attentive to beauty in all its forms, and moved by its simplest expressions. Music, in particular, was part of that awakening.

It was she who enrolled me, when I was about eight years old, in accordion lessons. But the heaviness of the instrument, and especially the rigidity of solfeggio, quickly discouraged me. Yet, without knowing it, she had just opened the first door to my musical universe.

A few years later, on November 3rd, 1978, she went to the Temple Saint-Étienne in Mulhouse to attend a Klaus Schulze concert (The “X.” Tour). She bought the timeless, mythical vinyl Mirage, unaware that she was handing me the key to a universe that would forever transform my life. That record was a revelation — a true thunderbolt, the musical spark that ignited it all. That precise moment, that suspended instant, awakened in me the calling of synthesizers, the Berlin School… and beyond that, the call of a sonic and spiritual mission.

It was also she who accompanied me to the store "Aux Guitares" in Mulhouse, where I learned about analog synthesis and how to handle instruments like the Minimoog.

IT WAS SHE WHO DROVE ME TO BELFORT

And it was she who drove me to Belfort so that I could attend Klaus Schulze’s concert on February 5th, 1983. At the end of the show, Klaus was still there — adjusting his synths, exchanging words with the few who lingered. Too shy, I couldn’t utter a single word. My mother came back from Mulhouse to pick me up. On the way home, filled with excitement, I confessed to her how disappointed I was for not daring to speak to the man whose music had so deeply moved my soul.

Later, I wrote Klaus a letter — never knowing if he ever read it.

LONG IMPROVISATION SESSIONS IN MY LITTLE STUDIO

I also remember writing a passionate message on the bathroom mirror, using one of her lipsticks, praising the Polymoog, that magical instrument Klaus owned — the one I dreamed of having.

I still recall those long improvisation sessions in my little studio, in my parents’ basement, surrounded by my “babies”:

the Korg PS-3200, the MS-20 with its SQ-10 sequencer, the ARP Odyssey (another synth Klaus used), the Oberheim Two Voices, the Crumar Multiman-S, and many others…

Each time she came downstairs to call me for dinner, I would startle — I was already floating in another world, headphones on.

More recently, when Sequentia Legenda began to shine publicly, I would give her the first versions of my albums. She kept them carefully, listened attentively, and shared her thoughts — always kind, often insightful.

I believe she was proud of me — of my perseverance, my path, and my fidelity to who I am. Besides music, we often talked about deep and spiritual matters.

She would often say: “If only you weren’t so sensitive!”

But I believe, deep down, that was her way of protecting me. She too was a profoundly sensitive soul.

At the end of her life, lying in her hospital bed, when she could hardly speak, we were all gathered around her. She whispered a few words. My father, leaning close, turned to me and said:

“Mom is asking if you will continue with your music.”

I reassured her, asked her to hold on, and told her that a double album was about to be released — The Berlin School Box — dedicated to her and to my father.

Fate decided otherwise: she left a few days later, journeying to another dimension 🙏

🌠 Epilogue – The Song of Souls

Even now, when my hands rest upon the keyboards and the first notes ascend, I feel her presence — gentle, benevolent, and serene.

Every vibration carries a trace of her gaze, her tenderness, her faith in me.

My music is no longer mine alone: it is the living breath of what she passed on to me — that light of love, that childlike wonder for the world, that trust in the unseen paths of existence.

Mother, you who opened the way, you who taught me to listen to the whisper of the infinite, I keep walking, creating, and resonating — to honor your light and let it shine ever brighter.

And sometimes, when I close my eyes, in the stillness between two notes,

I can hear you softly say:

“Continue, my son… music is your offering to the heavens.”

Shadow to Light: Musical Journey

From Silence to Vibrational Communion

Dear friends-listeners,

Since September 5, 2025, the day I was unable to pick up Valentin from his mother, I have been living through a separation that has unjustly lasted 45 days. Every moment reminds me of the forced distance and the injustice of this situation. Yesterday, October 18, 2025, I had to file a fourth complaint for parental child abduction.

Time feels endless, and each day tests my patience. Yet, I continue to navigate these weeks with the awareness of staying faithful to the love for my two sons, refusing to let absence erase this bond.

Unfortunately, this situation echoes what Dylan, Valentin, and I already had to endure in 2020 in an unjust and defamatory manner, highlighting the importance of remaining grounded and luminous, and of transforming waiting and pain into inner energy, meditation, and active faith.

And then, yesterday, Saturday, October 18, 2025, something incredible happened!

As I let the sounds float and literally arrive within me, ALNITAK, the third track of the album MINTAKA planned for 2026, took shape with a creative fluidity I had never experienced before. The notes flowed effortlessly, with a clarity and harmony that seemed guided by an external force. Every measure, every resonance crossed my body and mind, unleashing a torrent of emotions, tears, and joy.

✨ MINTAKA – the unmistakable sign

The same thing happened a few days earlier! MINTAKA itself unfolded with astonishing clarity—29 minutes and 35 seconds of music, almost born in a single breath, in just two to three days, without my really touching the keyboards… This is no mere surge of inspiration: it is a rare vibrational alignment, almost supernatural in its precision and speed. The music passes through me and takes form as if it already exists, ready to be channeled.

The fact that this track is the flagship of the 2026 album is no coincidence. My Guidance opened a luminous corridor, and I simply followed without resistance. This creative flow linked, like an invisible bridge, to the very recent release of TIMELESS on Cyclical Dreams. The heartfelt responses, the words of Marek Manowski, Pablo Bilbao, Michael Scanlon, Michael Brückner, and other listeners, amplified this inner current, as if the Universe were opening doors and sending signs into my life as a father, in my daily struggles, and in my creation.

MINTAKA and ALNITAK are no longer just compositions: they become soul-to-soul language, a channel where pain, love, light, and hope intersect. Invisible, discreet yet attentive presences seem to watch over us, guiding without intrusion, only through vibration. Perhaps Klaus, perhaps Valentin, perhaps other benevolent forces…

What I experience is not “despite” the pain or struggles for my sons…

👉 It is in part because of it. Suffering, perseverance, fatherly love, and fidelity to my mission create a breach through which light comes to support me. Music compensates, sustains, elevates, and heals, offering a sacred space of oxygen.

Each note becomes resonance, breath, and light, transforming absence into creative energy and forced distance into a vibrational bridge between me and my sons. What I compose here may touch a new vibrational level, a moment where the work surpasses the one who carries it, and where each vibration connects to Guidance and the invisible forces that watch over us.

Autumn, which is just unfolding its beautiful landscapes, harmonizes perfectly with this beautiful music, especially its final movement. The whole creates a cohesive whole, filled with sequential garlands of sounds and spatial soundscapes. Following the composer's intention, we enter successive realms of now extraterrestrial spaces, completely detaching ourselves from the earth. I've known the composer's music for a long time. And here we have an example of the consistency of the path he has been following for centuries. The first two movements are a perfect example, proving that the Berlin School is still in its prime. I am particularly captivated by the final movement, "Timeless Ethereal Light," somewhat choral, full of meditative depth, peace, and fulfillment. Perfect music for the troubled times we live in.”

This separation is not a mere obstacle; it is a daily struggle for love and presence. Every day, I must remain strong, despite fatigue and frustration, despite apparent injustice. Yet even amid the ordeal, I feel that love does not falter, that the bond with my children remains intact, even when it is invisible.

Zen, novenas, and music are my allies. They allow my heart to keep beating, to transmit, to vibrate, even in physical absence. Every note, every breath, every meditation becomes a guiding thread, linking my here and now to a wider elsewhere, a space of light and guidance.

I do not know when this separation will end, nor how balance will be restored. But what I know is that light exists, even in the darkest zones. Music then becomes a weapon of love and peace, a silent force that crosses pain and transforms each moment into vibration.

Within this flow, in these notes and invisible presences, I find the strength to believe, to create, and to love fully, despite everything, with gratitude and wonder.

This is precisely what I share with listeners: this divine transmutation, this light that transforms pain into strength, and imposed silence into vibrational communion, a bridge between a father’s heart and a child’s soul, between matter and ether, between the visible and the invisible.
